    My wife is now throwing hints she wants a yellow and a chocolate lab,we have a black and silver,she says there is also a blue and a red fox phase as well.She can't get our son in law to part with Sophies sister who is a yellow, she keeps trying.

    Frozen water that seeps into microscopic cracks in rocks while liquid and then when it freezes it pops them apart.Mad frost in WV september 30th.woke up to 30 degree temps and a field covered in white.I hollered "Die chiggers die!"

    Lot of field crickets here as well.Also I have a loud two spotted tree cricket across the street and tinkling ground crickets in the back yard and pine tree crickets in the tree tops

    If it is on a stump it looks like a gnarled up Oyster but I would need to see the underside to know for sure.Oysters are quite edible but as I said I cannot ID this from the pic,need to see it's belly.

    I am thinking your saying post # 1488 is at the outlet of the big bog on the Batona trail between 563 and 679. I have walked the trail through there many times and have never noticed this wall.
