    Pine Barrens without Fire?

So what do you think Spung Man ? Without fire would the pine barrens become the oak barrens? With repeated hot wildfires would this turn oak woodlands into pine woodlands? In my semi educated guess I'd say yes to both but am not totally sure of my answers.

Trains found underwater off of NJ coast

sand is basically crushed rock and when it's wet it is usually quite hard, easier driving anyway.I have no experience diving so perhaps the sand on the ocean floor is more of a silt and they would sink as you say I just know sugar sand hardens up or packs when wet.
