    The MAP is back

Whoa Jon, those sudden outbursts calling people nasty names with cursing are concerning. Take a tip from me, write them down on your post, but then go do laundry or something for a couple hours, and then return to look at what you've written. Chances are high you'll think better of posting that...

Ole's Ranch/Sally Starr's Ponderosa (not the pizza place)

That looked like a lot of fun. Buck Owens, that was a real coup to get him I think.

HERE maps - possible changes coming

I only used the Here Day street map, and only for convenience. I think your USGS topo + aerials is fine for what I'm doing, and I always have Google Maps open as well.

    Mystery Mounds

Interesting. One thing they dont' mention in this Ron, is why they are shaped that way. Why not dunes like we have.

    Dennis?

I've done some plant surveys here in between Mankiller and Jack Pudding Branch recently and up by Drosera street (arrow). Always felt a little uncomfortable next to that branch. That area is dark, sober, and brooding.

    Watching Beavers from Space

I didn't realize the pines needed ecological saving. Well, then again, its true. Beaver are destroying more Atlantic White Cedar than the woodchoppers ever did.

The Armchair Explorers of Google Maps

What a joke. No indian would live in a place like that. Sloshing around in skeeter infested marshes. He called the places between the ditches 'lots'.

The Armchair Explorers of Google Maps

Some of the reactions to posts in Pine Barren Facebook Groups turn my stomach. It's not so much the wierdness, but the over the top emotions ejaculated: PRECIOUS!, GORGEOUS!, LOVE THIS!, AWESOME!---complete with outsized graphics of clapping hands, dancing bears, Furry things, etc.

Introducing my 2023 traditional USGS-style topo

I use my favorites most of the time. But with this 34" screen, I get lazy or annoyed having to sweep my mouse all the way to the lower left bottom to get to them when my hand is telling me to just click the main maps and try to find what you want here. If I was left handed, that would help.

Introducing my 2023 traditional USGS-style topo

I've always wanted you to rearrange the menu just like you did in your post. But I'm afraid of you, so I never asked. /s

New Car or Nearly New Car

I can't believe this. I was alerted to this vehicle being newly displayed for sale up in the center of the state at a generic used car lot. First I looked at the Carfax they had up on their site. The last photo is what I got when I did a google search with the VIN. Thing is, CARFAX will honor...
