    Music for the day

One of the most unexpected and best cross-overs in my opinion. The Stones were never at the top my list of musicians but I liked them and listened to them. Over the years, I have really come to appreciate their talents a little more.

    Music for the day

What the hell is that thumping noise? Oh, it’s George Jones trying to get out of his grave to kick the Dead’s asses.

    Music for the day

I can see this being played on loudspeakers inside an insane asylum to try and quell a riot. Or maybe to incite one.:)

Absolutely Bob. The land belongs to the public. But for now, let us just rejoice in the generous gift that we have all received. I did the the math. The 37 miles of temporary road openings for hunters only is at least 0.00nothing% of the the total road miles that have been etched into...

    "map" update email.

Bingo. You have to go to the Parks and Forestry website to get the real revised map. The map on that website has the revision date in the upper right corner and the roads that are going to be opened are now shown dashed as they should have been. Here is the link...

    "map" update email.

I have been looking at this new map for 5 minutes and I cannot see areas or roads that are dashed that, according to the legend notes on the right, are to depict the roads or now additional roads that will be opened up for hunting. Am I losing my mind?

    Music for the day

Just letting the playlist roll after that song brings up some awesome music, including a lot of red dirt music.. I let it go for 15 minutes and there wasn't a bad song in the list..

    Eureka Gun Club photos

Lacrosse has a 25% off sale each fall, typically the third week in November. I have backups of my 800g Alpha Burlys on hand and I buy them during these sales. I send the sale notice to my sons and my hunting and trapping buddies as soon as I see it. I will post it here when it comes up again. I...

Very nice trip report. I do have on question. I saw your exposed ankle in the one photo and I feel like I got chiggers just by looking at it. Did you have any issues with chiggers or ticks?

    Insane Driver on Hampton Road

As my mom used to say to me almost daily, "This is why we can't have nice things!":)

Mosquito spraying throughout Camden County Thursday

We need it badly. I didn't hear anything last night but then again, I'm a pretty sound sleeper when I am asleep. :) It may have gotten postponed because of the drizzle overnight??? I miss the good old days of riding my bicycle around in the mosquito fog from the County trucks. I'm still here:D

    Chigged!

For most people on this site, it is hard to stay out of the woods no matter what the season.. I've been taking walks back to some of my stand areas the last few weekends and managed to dodge the chiggers by staying in the roads and wearing long pants and work boots. Today. I couldn't resist the...

A Fine Time For Fine Wine

Another year slipped by on me but I always gotta do the wine. It's been 16 years since I started this thread.. That's pretty hard to believe.. Well, anyway, I'm still alive, but I currently have a bad wing. I had rotator cuff surgery in July and I'm now into the painful PT. Sling has been off...

    Music for the day

Very cool video Slingblade.. My late sister loved him and had all of his albums and movies. Our Uncle Charlie worked at RCA records in Indiana and used to send us boxes of rock and roll albums in the 60's and there was always some Elvis in the box. It's very sad that he went so young. He just...

    Music for the day

Okay. Listening to that probably wouldn't force me to jump off a building. I might be seeking another means of exit though. :D You know I love you man. I just can't resist a ball-breaking opportunity when you bring up the f%$king Grateful Dead. :p
