    One Source of the Mullica

Bingo Scott, I found the outlet to that into the Mullica canal I showed in my photo. Here below is the outlet from the Industrial park into the wider canal. It is strewn with a few big plastic pots, most likely from cannabis cultivation many years ago. A well hidden area on the opposite side of...

    Music for the day

Yes, I've watched that a couple times. He's quick with his fingers, and dedicated. When I was 17, we'd drive around in a friends mustang listening to "I'm a Man". I always loved it when they came back in after solo instrumentals.

    One Source of the Mullica

One more thing from yestereday that is quite interesting. If you'd like to be an assassin, this plant growing on the roadside in Berlin will help you set it up.

    One Source of the Mullica

I thought it was interesting, whilst poking around, to note that if you just branched out a bit from the X, and went in a huge 4 mile diameter circle, you'd hit the Big Timber, Cooper, Great Egg Harbor, Rancocas, and Mullica.

    Where is this?

Okay, nobody got the above (and post 2285) despite numerous clues. If I don't see an answer by 8 PM, I'll reveal it. I really thought someone would get it right away with this clue in post 2,308: "It is said she was the last of her breed living in the county".

    One Source of the Mullica

It is interesting to note (I may have brought this up before), that the National Hydrography dataset makes it clear that the water is designated as flowing both ways: 1) to the Rancocas via Haynes Creek running to Medford Lakes, and 2) to the Alquatka Branch and thense to the Mullica. But if you...

    One Source of the Mullica

Not far down, she flows under 73 here (that is, she flows when wet). A highlight of this grand day is seeing this rare convertable Falcon Sprint near the canal. From Wiki. But I like it. For the 1964 year, Ford added a Sprint Package, which gave the Falcon the Fairlane's 260 V8, a stiffer...

    One Source of the Mullica

Yesterday was a good day to be outside. Temperature and sunshine perfect. I decided to go to "one" of the sources of the Mullica, just west of route 73 in Berlin. See Purple line below. The original source here may have been just on the other side of the tracks, but that has been lost to the RR...

    Kettle Run Fire, Again

Also, regarding the same about fire reporting, news outlets will always suck at it, because they want you to give them your email in order to "continue reading". A crisis is perfect for them to try and gain more subscribers. Once you're in, you'd have to fight through the ads in order to...

    Kettle Run Fire, Again

We really have dreadfully awful fire reporting. It's like the citizens are totally blind on how big it is, how much is contained, what direction is it heading, what did it do overnight, etc, etc. It should not be this way.
