    Streams in Suburbia

Yeah, I had to go deep to find the name. It's at the link below. Look at Jarvis road in Sicklerville.

I was also interested to see all the land open for exploring in the area below, as I drove down the AC expressway. Great Egg watershed, and all that entails, plus the powerline following the expressway.

Also, I was checking property in that area, and all the neighbors have to notify all the other neighbors if there will be any work done at their home/yard due to the flood danger. I guess they have to approve it.

    Streams in Suburbia

I was doing a plant survey in Camden County today, off Sicklerville Road. The stream appeared to be subject to some high velocity scouring at times. I had to wonder if this car got here that way. I have not lived in a true, jam packed suburb since I was a little kid. Are the streams there...

    Quite a hill

Reminds me. Here in Barnegat where they are constructing the cottages, they had to move an entire hill to make way for the new cottages. Here's my grandson who scrambled up it. He had some misgivings when he turned to go down. Something I've done more than once.

You ought to drop that premise, that it should be looked at. We all know NJCF studies snakes, and will likely buddy up close to Bunnell to goad him into closing roads. The roads and the wildlife are doing fine. Stop meddling.

Your statement below is your goal all along Russ. That opens the door to close any road you want closed. "And it would include closing roads that qualified biologists say are harmful to T&E species."

The Nature Conservancy Finalizes Land Donation to Ocean County

Yes, except for the sand plants and a few very small private parcels, it's all preserved. The big area the county bought from brunetti is about 8,000 acres. We are good to go, the recorders are behind is all.

Interesting. I wonder what causes the view to have this black scalloped look in some areas.
