Not going to have Thanksgiving with the family due to covid. I've come this far and so close to a vaccine, I'll pass.

Cranberry Farming Has a History in NJ (Thanksgiving Recipe Included)

I like the whole berry stuff, and I love turkey with cranberry. But won't happen this year. I'm not going to risk it.

Guy, doesn't that tree in the last photo look like the one where Scott's dog Murph pulled out that possum and tried to throttle him?

What about this? I sent mine in 2 years ago to Garmin to get it fixed. My rubber was torn.

Allen road, Oswego Road, and the bombing range.

This one is really puzzling to me. It makes no sense, in more ways than one. $300,000 to protect 44,000 acres of forest area in the Greenwood State from wildfire near the NJ National Guard Warren Grove Gunnery Range in Ocean/Burlington counties

    West Jersey Cranberry Meadow

That looks like 95% wetlands. Good luck developing that.

What we did to this wonderful flowering seep.

By the way, that day I was also behind the dump by Haywood Road. I was bent over looking at some plants, and I hear a group of boys from the new development approaching. They were on the surface of the dump. I'd guess they were 11 years old, maybe 5 of them. I hid behind a tree and started...

Good question. It likely comes up in conversation with the realtor at least.

Shamong Mayor Envisions His Township Becoming A Hub Of Cannabis Cultivation If Legalization Is Approved By NJ Voters

No, I see it's from 2000. I must have missed it. Yes, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul were great shows. The series Narcos about Pablo Escobar was even better than Narcos Mexico. Very violent, but the guy who played Escobar did a great job.

I don't know, but there is an apparatus along route 72 that contains piping etc. It's within 50 feet or so of the bridge where the creek goes under 72.

What we did to this wonderful flowering seep.

It does have very sharp elevation drops to Mill Creek, yes. As to the homes, I was shocked to see last week the progress they've made in putting them up. They've started building quickly on the SE side. Here's a cell phone photo I took into the sun. These, I believe, back up to the woods.

    Ticks & Chiggers--a study

I pulled off a tick last night. Got it just by walking in low grass next to the woods in Barnegat. Again, the is a deer tick, not seen in the pines proper. I scrubbed my bite with chrlorhexidine. These do not itch as much as lone star ticks. I'll let you know if that changes.

What we did to this wonderful flowering seep.

This is a well known location. Manahawkin west of the parkway. AMF mentioned ochre sludge, which made me think; maybe the sludge is the material used to cap it; clay mixed with other foreign material (foreign to the pines). Still, even that is not natural and not good in a pristine place. I may...
