Little Hawkin Run ... A PBX Hike

That was an excellent write up Guy. And Scott, Dottie, Chris and John, thank you for the fine food. Al, it was great seeing you again. Wish you could make it more often. It was a very strenuous trip, but it really felt great being out in the woods again. We did over 7 miles without using...

Old Forge Dam to be rebuilt

The first paragraph says it straddles route 70. I swam in that lake as a resident of Hampton Lakes in 1962. It appears Leisuretown must own the lake now, and don't want anyone swimming in it. A pity.

    Signs of Spring

Boyd, this is not advice I am giving you, it is only experience. My snow blower purchased in 2007. Has had gas in it all year since then, and I usually forget to put in the stabilizer. Starts and runs fine. My pressure washer purchased in 2002(?). Same thing. And I've gone two years without...

Ebay Picture Pine Barrens 1969 NJ?

:) I just don't have a clue. They do sort of look like pineys, but then again, they could be from New Brunswick!

What Did the Pre-European Pinelands Look Like/

Thank you for your informative reply Mark. Here's the deal with me. I'm always surprised when copies of nature photographs from so long ago are so zealously guarded. For what reason; is there a chance the heirs will make a ton of money off of it? Isn't it better to just let it become part of...

What Did the Pre-European Pinelands Look Like/

I just don't know what to say about this statement. I wanted to say something, but then thought, no, I'll just keep quiet. But I did want you to know I was thinking about it. But then, you probably knew somebody would think about it....and wonder. :)
