I'll say! First I moved up to a 125 Combat Wombat, then the 200 Suzuki. Do you still have the YZ? Bring it out. Chris and I put those Kouba links on that 400 I bought, and here it is with the new seat. Lowering it worked like a champ.

Mike, please bring the pickup. You don't mind carrying some bags of bottles and cans, and maybe the odd piece of refuse cast off by our repulsive "it's all about me" society?

LOL! Al, remember the time we went on the Chatsworth North Hike, and after 6 miles in the woods, with all of us together, including Buddy....he suddenly growled at you when you crossed the road to get in the car? It must have been the shock of seeing you after not seeing you for a couple...

Ha! Good one guy. Yup, just look at them. That is a woman too. I really do admire them. I have confidence that the majority of them are honest and forthright. By the way, see that hill right there to the right of them? Every time I think of the crazy things we do when we were young, I...

Ha! Back in the 70's, nothing scared me more than the man in the NJ state trooper car with the gold and blue bands on the side. There was something about those crisp uniforms, perfect haircuts, and stoic demeanor. We were all crazy, drinking, smoking, listening to led zep and the dead, etc, and...

I am not against prescribed burning to protect homes. But vollie, think about it--in this case, a single small firebreak aound the perimiter was all that was needed. It was burned, when, early March? All they had to do was station a few guys on that firebreak in the back to ensure it did not go...

Oh hell, I know that Vollie. All I'm saying is the approval was wrong-headed and stupid.

Tonite, I did receive a reply from a high level fire warden. While I can't say it is all I would like to hear, he was courteous, and I made my point. I appreciate him replying. Hopefully they'll take it to heart, and start making their mark much less prominent in the future. ...."Thank you...

Is that where my tax dollars are going? Guys huddled in rooms poring over maps, making decisions where to bulldoze new roads and trails? And then, up to the big Mahoff in Trenton for final approval? You don't get it, do you? None of that stuff they do works in a wildfire. When the '95 fire...

Yes, you do post to annoy me. I'm on to you. I sent this post to the DEP. Station 59 in Bamber? I doubt they did this. They don't own a dozer that I know of, and this is state land.

Tom, for the most part, yes. If we get to a spot where you get cold feet, park it and hop in another vehicle. There is one tight spot.....lets see how it goes.

I'm not surprised you think it's okay 46'r....my posting friend. If I say black, you say white. But at least you could be more accurate. Here is the truth. Now you have a road back there where there has never been. That was totally unecessary.

Vollie....there simply is no excuse. The pines have enough roads already existing to do prescribed burns. They don't need to gouge new ones. We'd like a little wilderness with our Pine Barrens...but thank you for your interest.
