    Rehabilitation of Murphy’s Pit Delayed

Ocean county has one of the highest senior populations in the country in numerous communities. You'd of thought by now they'd make new homes have solar. Perhaps the builder has a lobbyist.

    Fish Hook In Leg

I casted off for pickerel at Davenport Branch Lake and promptly got the mepps spinner stuck in my head above my ear. I wore a beanie to the quick care in Forked River. The medical guy had me laughing with his true story of a surf fisherman who came in with one stuck in his ball sack.

DEP determined to resolve pinelands access disputes

I think I'm the only one on the forum that is not really dissatisfied with the permit process. I've held back because i don't have a flak jacket. But I have to say, if it keeps some of the riff-raff and out of state people out, I'm okay with it. There, I said it.

    Fish Hook In Leg

In my experience, these Urgent Cares are like pop up businesses. They grab a place, put a few items inside, cobble together a staff, and man it with 2 people all day. Okay, so some are good, but still.

Batona Camp well pump is out of service

This is in the heart of the pine barrens. I'd love to know how that got in there. Sand is a great filter. If they need to make it deeper, then go for it.

Batona Camp well pump is out of service

Ed, yes I see there is coliform present. I saw that in the first post. I thought someone did something to contaminate the well. What do you mean "I can't imagine the mind set of someone who does this." Am I missing something in the paperwork? Who did what?

Batona Camp well pump is out of service

So what's the deal Ed? I can't understand why they have to use a form that covers everthing but makes it as clear as mud. Why did the well fail?

    Tax Parcel Website

All I want them to do is tell me if owner is one of these classes: Federally owned, State owned, County owned, Township owned, Non-profit conservation firm owned, Business owned, Private party owned, or other class.

    Meteors! (was: René-Levasseur Island)

By the way, at one point that Pinguluit crater was touted as having the most pure water on earth. And it's so clean it does not have enough minerals to keep the Artic grayling formed right. They have skinny bodies and big heads.

    Meteors! (was: René-Levasseur Island)

I drove from Pheonix to the Grand Canyon, and I should have taken a detour to that crater. I didn't realize it until later.

    Meteors! (was: René-Levasseur Island)

I didn't read this link yet, but I was wrong, it was the Chubb Crater story I read. National Geo 1952 "solving the riddle of Chubb Crater." It's been renamed. https://craterexplorer.ca/pingualuit-impact-crater/

All they have to do is supplement with drones. That'll shut the door, so to speak.

    Fix Our Parks

That goes along with my idea for a special task force like they did in Manchester. Big, beefy state trooper types, about 20 of them, swooping in to to lay the law down. Guys who are schooled on what can be ridden and what cannot. That's important, because I see a lot of confusion about that even...

    Meteors! (was: René-Levasseur Island)

That is so mind-blowing. From the Chesapeake article: "Tropical rain forests covered the slopes of the Appalachians." Not many people know that (I read this, but I'm 'pretty' sure its correct) the slope of the Appalachian chain slides beneath New Jersey, even in South Jersey. Drill down beneath...

    Buzby's to Re-Open?

I have no idea what they did in there, but I would have taken the downstairs diner back to the 1950's.
