    Body found in Chatsworth

He's teasing Ben. Whenever you see that green grinning smilie you have to remember that what is being said is most likely tongue-in-cheek. We all realize Brick was voted one of the safest communities in America several years ago.

    Body found in Chatsworth

I can come up with 10 places in 10 minutes, but I can't give out any clues in case the task becomes useful to me some day. You never know!

    Body found in Chatsworth

If I had the grisly task of burying a body in the pines, you'd never see or hear from them again. The cops would have a heart attack just gettin to the place.

    The Internet

Ain't it great? Too bad we can't lock up people who screw around with us, like hackers, advertisers, scam artists, and the like. Here is a cool site. http://www.panoramio.com/map/

    Lower Forge / Unbridge revisited

That is very cool Neil....thanks for that info. I checked out your website...nicely done. That must be a very infectious hobby....once bitten you keep going back out. It's very exciting. I had a small detector in the 70's and I did use it a lot....mostly at the beaches and playgrounds.

    Oh Black Water

Yes, I heard some of Weymouth Furnace is in danger of being underwater. The ground is frozen underneath the snow. All the rain water flows to the stream instead of going underground and taking its normal course of flow through the sands...

Why not wait till July? That pill taken today would be a bitter one indeed! Oh boy, I wish it had gone off in the storm....I would have paid $5 admission to see that.

    Lower Forge / Unbridge revisited

That is a cool looking avatar you have there Neil. What is it? Have you read about that gentleman who found a treasure trove of gold from the Dark Ages in England? That avatar makes me think of that. http://news.discovery.com/archaeology/treasure-trove-farmer-field.html

A PBX Hike, The Warren Grove Wildfire 6 Months Later

Good info Mark. I wonder if they count evaporation of the surface of mining water bodies. I often thought of adding the surface area up of all open water areas created by mines to see how they stack up compared to total natural spung surface area. That would take a long time to do, and is...

    hello from newbie

Hey Backwoods.....welcome. How long have you lived in Chatsworth and what do you think of that town? What do you like doing in the pines? PS: anybody....I'm looking for a photo of the old zinc(?) plant off Savoy Blvd.

A PBX Hike, The Warren Grove Wildfire 6 Months Later

I've often wondered Mark, whether anyone is pulling water from the area to sell bottled water. That would really irk me, that someone would be making a profit in that fashion.

New law allows loaded guns in national parks

Scott, you just modified what you said. Originally you said two things that are in opposition. You said... "This law does not allow the average s-head to wheel a gun around in a National Park as the tone of the article would have you believe.....(and then you said)....Pennsylvania on the...

New law allows loaded guns in national parks

Scott, you are saying that only criminals with a record are shitheads. I don't think that is what you meant.

A PBX Hike, The Warren Grove Wildfire 6 Months Later

Oh no Tom....the spung is about 1/3 mile away. I did not mean to connect the two. I was only saying that R. Knieskernii is often above a clay lens which holds the water as their habit requires it. I went on to say I thought there might also be clay at the bottom of the Spung. I defer to Mark...

    Google Street View Incident

Guy, what do you mean take a tour of Norway? Did you mean just get on google maps and browse the country, or does that program guide you though it? It looks like a lot of ice, fresh water, and great country. I was looking at Scotland a few days ago, great places to trek up there.
