    Beer (again)

Mike, after two glasses of his vino, Scott does listen to some of my stuff. He does need to loosen up a bit too though.

    Destruction at Mount

I don't think raw materials (fence, guardrail) will do the job. It means nothing to people. But I do think a nicely worded sign will. Wasn't there a sign there at one time? How about one of those signs cast in bronze that we see along roadways, like they use for the tavern site at Sooy. It can...

    Beer (again)

Heh....from a blog: "I saw a lot of lousy shows at the Spectrum, too. Milli Vanilli comes to mind, though watching those dreadlocked, lip-synching Germans break-dance in their bicycle pants was not without its entertainment value."...

    Beer (again)

Sad...its over, right? I saw Led Zeppelin, Little Feat, George Harrison, Lou Reed, and The Dead there.

    Beer (again)

I told a guy in a liquor store I wanted something smooth, and not so piney hoppy. He suggested this, and it is very good. I could not hide the bottle that well. Extra points if you can tell me what the phrase is under the album title. This is a great album by the way.

    Little Bird

Could I have possibly seen a Black-Throated Blue Warbler today in the cedar swamp? His top and face were jet black, with a blue sheen. His undersides were creamy white, and although his wings were also black, there was a bright flash of white there, as if his secondary or tertial wings were all...

    Beer (again)

I just can't do it. The plastic turns me right off. Also, if my math is correct the economical starter pack, at $34.99, means $10 a six pack. I can get a lot of good beer in glass bottles for that.

    Destruction at Mount

That was nice savanna back in the 30's. Imagine the view from the train whizzing by? Imagine the view from a train whizzing by now and seeing trucks in there? http://maps.njpinebarrens.com/#lat=39.758440842474975&lng=-74.66731309890747&z=17&type=nj1930&gpx= PS: I do now see the bigger area...

    Destruction at Mount

Oh, now I see it. By the looks of it, many people know about it. The area I'm talking about is less than a mile away. Whats to keep them from heading into spungs?

    Destruction at Mount

I agree about the sign Jeff. I've been thinking of that for my area at Forked River Mountain. They have really eroded one side of it. I've also though of a dumping sign that will be posted on Dover Road in Bamber Lake: WARNING: IF YOU DUMP HERE WE WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU!

    Destruction at Mount

King, do you know where the area is around frames 26-40? I have a sinking feeling that is East of the Batsto River, and just south of where the Skit enters the Batsto. That is a very special place botanically.

Friday in the Pines and Not At Work

Yes 46er, but this one was at Sim Place, where the turn in the Red Road is on the way to Oswego Lake from 72. PS: I had 35 ticks on my clothes that I pulled off during the trip, and 5 on my skin when I stripped at home. The only one itching was under my arm pit. Don't you all just hate that?
