Good photos boys. Looks like you had a good trip in an area PBX will visit next weekend...if the weather holds and the creek don't rise. I like the first and second photo best. I was in the pine plains and Guy was over by atsion. We were all spread out today.

    Beer (again)

Are you leaving a former place of employment for a better position elsewhere? Whats going on? I did not see you mention anything else about this.

    Beer (again)

I am not happy with this beer (but the album is a great classic). I actually poured a bottle down the sink. Say, isn't that a sin in Ocean County NJ?

    Hawk shooting

The work of ignorant people. Never ceases. Reminds me. Christmas eve I drove up to Ringoes to pick up a present. I rounded a busy corner off of route 31 and there was a redtail on a road signpost, just sitting there looking at the cars as they passed. He was only about 10 feet off the ground...

    Iona Gun Club

Al, that is on Warren Grove Range property. I was there during a tour, but I never asked them about it. I'm not sure it is used for hunters...probably not anymore. Here is the boundary:

    Ahi Tuna

I had a couple steaks in the freezer that were well past the due date, so I had a mind to take them out this morning to a clearing in Greenwood Forest to see what tracks they'd raise. I do weird stuff like this sometimes. Anyway, I parked about a mile from Bamber's lonliest house and...

    Merry Christmas !

I consider all of you my friends. Here's a Christmas wish for better days to come. I wish for food in a world where many walk in hunger, for friends in a world where many walk alone, and for faith in a world where many walk in fear. Merry Christmas to all of you.

Navy restores cedar stands in old cranberry bogs....

I go by them everyday. I work at the base. By fox holes, I meant what they did at the Chatsworth Preserve...dug the holes to make mounds (remember our post of a couple weeks ago?). I have'nt recently taken notice, but I don't think Lakehurst did what NJCF did. Courtesy of Guy:

Navy restores cedar stands in old cranberry bogs....

It will be interesting to see Chris, whether they grow just as well without all the World War 2 foxholes the NJCF swears by.

Some pics from the past year

Yes, in fact there is. If you see Largo slinking around the woods, get on your cell phone pronto and report him. If he is out there, he is probably up to no good. Stay back at least 200 yards until the proper authorities arrive. Regarding Timber Rattlesnakes, I don't agree that you should...

Very unique shots Chris, especially the rough green. Fantastic actually. That milk snake is neat. What kind of habitat did you find that in?
