    Plant Id help....

I"m sorry 46'r. I'd need a flower, since I don't recognize it on sight. With a flower we could zero in based upon many features that can easily be keyed out.

Thoughts on ATV use in New Jersey.

Well said Jeff. And here, I'll go further. I never minded seeing Enduro event tracks left over from sanctioned and well-run events. Thirty years ago, they probably did not do a great job routing "some" sections of the Enduro events around sensitive areas. But I see no problem continuing those...

Thoughts on ATV use in New Jersey.

I owned a dual sport and may own one again. I have seen quite a few dual sport riders in my travels. They usually pass by quietly, respectfully slowing down when they see you. Not to stereotype them (but I will), they are usually over 30 years old, well mannered, and in it for the beauty of the...

Thoughts on ATV use in New Jersey.

C'mon Devilstoy, pull yourself up by your bootstraps young man! Nobody is hating you or any other ATV advocate. We are just discussing things here. Hold your head high and defend your position with confidence.

    Beer (again)

How was that Sue? I used to drink LA beer when the kids were young and we had many relatives over for barbecues. It had half the alchohol, so I never got blasted and could enjoy the day. I think the Anheuzer bush company made it.

Keep going Bronzeman. You amuse me to no end. What else do you think we should be able to do on public land? Be specific now.

Thoughts on ATV use in New Jersey.

Trailhead, you asked for some comments. I'm not going to crawl in a hole, I'll give you my opinion. Your comments are all sound, and you obviously put some real thought into them. They all seem to be okay at first glance. State Forests though, were procured for more passive recreation...

    Roger's House?

Yes, that is long gone. When I was a kid we swam at the beach in Presidential Lakes, and I think it was situated right at the top of the beach. There is an interesting bit about another cabin in Mr. Misery in a book about snakes. If I get a chance I'll dig it up. A hermit lived in that one...

    Driftin' 'round The Forge

Nice fire photos on the other link Pancoast. I almost bought the last house on the right leaving Warren Grove (on Pancoast Road) heading East in 1980. It was going for $45,000. An older couple from England were living there at the time. Our exploring club did a trip through the plains on the...
