Under the New Wharton World Order in which we live, I have this to ask about this so-called road:
-Is this truly a "road" ?
-Why is this road here ?
-What purpose could it possibly serve or have served ?
-Does anyone truly "need" to travel this road or even look at this road ?
For the love of...
I will email the Mayor today and thank him and the Committee for the support.
I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I left August's Committee meeting. After seeing how the "Traveling Rob Show" appeared to have been received by the Committee, I held little hope that Waterford would...
Not one in the same Boyd, in my opinion. Look at the MAP. The "Batsto Natural Area" text is generally centered at the Locks area. None of the roads or trails have ever been posted in that area over at least the last 30 years. Until now.
Nearly every road off of Railroad Ave is free of environmental sensitivity and none are frequented by the destructors. There is no good reason for them to be closed. Auermuller stated outside of the Waterford meeting that they closed all of those roads first to protect the "Batsto Natural Area...
Well here I am again. Almost a year to the day since my 2014 post and 6 years since I started the thread.
Just put up 36 gallons of California Pinot Noir , Cab Sav, and Barbera. Doing another 12 of NY when I can get it.
Here are 2015's prices...
Check out my thread under the Conservation forum on NJ Hunter Badfish. I was shocked at the response.
The general consensus was: "Good, 'bout F'ing time!
Sad.
Any of the side roads blocked or signed off yet Guy ?
All of the roads that I am interested in for this season are shown on the MAP to be closed. In fact, all of the side roads off of West Mill are slated for closure.
There has been no concession.
In my opinion, the NJOA, NJFSC , the gun clubs and every non-hunter who loves this woods have a long way to go before there will be any concessions made.
I am Cook '81 Mark and I too had Wolfe as a professor. To say he was an interesting and intelligent man would be understated. I still have my The Geology and Landscapes of New Jersey textbook on my desk here at work.
I never knew that he grew up in Nesco. He certainly expanded his horizons...
Contact this guy, Wes Swain. He is Somers Point's administrator.
I believe he wrote a a book too.

Sure hope it wasn't on one of them there super environmentally sensitive closed roads.
If he turns it into Batsto with a description of where it was found, he may be found in violation of the MAP !
Sadly, this is not too far-fetched.
They are literally everywhere in Waterford. We hear them at night in Pestletown.
I have snared one and shot in my trapping and hunting pursuits thus far. The snared one was taken in Pestletown.
The picture in the following Facebook link was taken two days ago and it shows the same problem that existed there before. You were forced to launch a boat downstream of the ramp at lower tides. People were cited often for not staying on the ramp so I suppose that will continue too. According to...
Anyone can attend and participate in a municipal meeting.
Waterford, my Township, has a time limitation on public comment stemming from dealing with a guy who used to relentlessly hammer the governing body on anything and everything. I believe they set it at 6 minutes per person.
