An off-road bicycle association chapter maintains the MTB trails. An outdoor club maintains the hiking trails. Trail maintenance is supervised by staff. Correct me if I'm wrong, but due to the increased traffic. I believe maintenance of the sand roads these days would require more/frequent use...

Nice Jeeps! Day after NYD, I traded in my 4Runner Trail for a Tacoma TRD. I like the change. The motor is not as strong. But it drives, handles, stops, much better and funner.

When/If Ford ever delivers my 2021 Bronco. My 2010 4Runner Trail will be sold. :) I never had an issue with the front turn signal lens breaking from a hit. But I did lose a rear lens one day.

After driving other brands that were not reliable. I returned to Toyota and purchased a new 2010 Trail Edition. It is nicely spec'd w/ the right stuff for the sand roads. No big problems in 100k miles. The stock shocks were replaced around 40k, and the bad PRND sensor (common problem) replaced...
