    Came across this in Brenden Byrne last year. In all the years I have been roaming around the pines I have never seen anything like it. I was told it is called a golfball mushroom. I figured there had to be a better name for it that that. lol

    Highly unlikely. South Jerseys waters are really not good smallmouth habitat. They prefer deep rocky lakes that are not as acidic as South Jersey Water. They need the rocky habitat for spawning.
