I have a report that there was a lot of state police activity around 10.30 A.M. and a load of cars parked on both sides of Beaver Dam rd, but no folks associated with the cars observed. About an hour later all the cars were moved to both sides of the FAA driveway and the police were still present and no folks present for the cars. I passed by around 3 pm and there were maybe 15 to 20 cars parked on one side of the faa driveway. There were no people or police present. I assumed this was the listed 1st day hike between the hours of 1 pm to 4 pm. Anyone know what the earlier commotion was about?
