2 Great Swamps

I've heard a lot of discussion about the Great Swamp. I was wondering if anyone has ever been to the Great Swamp in Basking Ridge. All the Jersey Recreation books mention it as a neat spot. Are there any similiarities between the two Great Swamps. I realize they are in two different geological areas in Jersey.

I have seen it but not yet done any exploration. Its a pretty large area, but a lot of it is off limits as its the property of the Newark City Waterworks. Its a typical hardwood swamp, but off of JFK Parkway by the Short Hills Mall there are some very nice views. My girlfriend used to babysit for a family that lived in Harding Township and I know there was a trail close to their because I would pass it on the way to the house. I've actually been meaning to check it out so maybe I'll go for a hike and take some pictures.
