All,

We went looking for a few stones today at Friendship and came away empty handed again, so we headed over to do some exploring along the JCRR. We visited Bridge 78 and Bridge 77.

Bridge 78.

We also found Milepost 95.

While walking the rails we noticed the briers are starting to turn green already just like last year. Spring may again be early this year.

We also found this trash pile that is actually blocking the road along with a downed tree. There are cans piled up nearby which makes it seem like it may be a partial missed pickup from this past years cleanup in Wharton.

Notice the mirror.

And this shows you how poor Jessica’s balance is while we wander though the woods. It is a video.

Thanks for a taste of the Pines Guy on what was a nice mild day out there. I had hoped to get out myself but just didn't work out.

Looks like you were testing that new camera out. What did you end up getting?

I was hoping to have a few more interesting things to photograph but it just did not work out that way.

I purchased this one.

I am impressed with it so far. I was going to buy the 14MP camera but I wanted one that the lens closed up and I did not have to keep putting on a lens cap. All the reviews mentioned they had lost the cap. This was the newest Cannon that interested me other than the higher MP versions.

I was really disapointed with the macro in my other camera; however, this one is much better. Click on the photo to enlarge it.

You should've given her snowshoes and ski poles to start with and maybe put up cardboard blinders along the sides so she couldn't see the water.I have faith in her.maybe some incentive.Approaching fire ants or yellowjackets would do the trick for me even if it was a tighrope.I'm sure you know her fears.Something to chase her might just do the trick.take the poles first or she'll stand and fight instead:)

She was just trying to keep one foot in front of the other which she can't do. If she ever was pulled over by the cops and asked to do the one foot in front of the other walk she will go to jail :)

i have always had real good balance at least till i put on the last 50 lbs.Now occasionally if I make sudden movements like stepping down off a log my belly will throw me off ballance and prove once again that weebles really do fall down.

Very nice camera Guy. I wish you well with it and look forward, as always, to your reports and photography.

Nice walkabout Guy. Thanks so much for sharing your day.
I settled for hanging in here on Sunday. I'll keep the inside to myself for a bit.

I am stumped. Once, you showed us a barn of a neighbors. This cannot be it as the water is near. How about something in Medford Town?
