All,
Early this morning we headed out to look for a few stones, and possible stones, and explore the particular area at the same time. The first stone was there in 1919 on the Jones Mills Tract survey, and is in the Parker Preserve. The info I have is sketchy, and we unfortunately did not find anything. However, in the area I took these.
We walked a famous reservoir and I took three photo’s and merged them together.

We continued on to do some more searching, and felt confident when we found this.
Sure enough we were heading in the right direction.
And after a few more minutes we found this nailed to a wooden stake in the ground. Looking up!
And then we reached our destination and all the clues told us we had made it. Notice the three blazes on the trees.
And on this one.
Luck was not with us today since there was nothing there. Another stone bit the dust. We headed back taking a different route and walked through this.

Does this look familiar?
And we found this not far from where we parked. Another Parker Preserve Monument.
