Abandoned Homes on Mullica?

Anybody know the exact location of these houses? And, does anybody know if they have any historical significance or are just old homes? I've been in the area many times and never seen them. Just curious.

That's because they are on private property.
They are located behind someone's home, in their backyard.

The way the article was written they made it seem like they were just abandoned in the middle of nowhere. Guess I'll stay away then. Thanks for clearing it up.

I honestly never even saw it until you mentioned it and I went back and looked. I just saw the pictures of the homes themselves and hastily assumed they were something historic. The way the post is written makes it seem likes it is the middle of nowhere on a remote location near the Mullica, too.

The houses where by the lower bank bridge. The property was sold and the buildings where torn down and a new house was built in it's place.

The new house has been there for the better part of a year, no? Very interesting place for a house as there are no other structures on that side of the river for miles.

The address is 1001 Lower Bank Rd Egg Harbor city NJ 08215. On Google maps Earth the old buildings are sill there.
