On June 22, an A-29 Super Tucano participating in the US Air Force's Light Attack Experiment (OA-X) program crashed while flying over the Red Rio Bombing Range—part of the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. US Navy Lt. Christopher Carey Short, from Canandaigua, New York, died in the crash. Another pilot ejected and suffered only minor injuries.

I'd much rather see my tax $ spent on new Warthog wings than golf outings on Airforce One.
"Under the proposal, the Air Force would retire 421 older fighter jets through 2026, according to internal documents that Air Force magazine obtained. The jets on the chopping block include all of the service’s 234 F-15C/D Eagle fighters, 124 F-16 C/D Fighting Falcon multi-role fighters, and 63 A-10C Thunderbolt close air support jets."

Plenty of Warthog runs over Lower Bank heading to Warren Grove this year. Does anyone know where they are based? They used to have some up in Willow Grove but that based was shut down. I am aware that the 177th Fighter Wing Jersey Devils is located at Atlantic City International Airport, in Egg Harbor Township. I see and hear them frequently, but wonder where the Wathogs live?
