Also noticed in the recent pine barrens on that site that he has the mullica river at friendship,he's off quite some miles on that,is that not the shane branch that flows under the new bridge on carranza road.

Jim,

I will have to agree with you that those two photo’s are taken from the Friendship bridge, and they are not at all near the Mullica. Here is a newer photo taken from the Friendship bridge that clearly shows the same trees shown in his photo. He is using a different lens that makes the tree’s in the distance look further away, but the closer tree’s are the same ones. Good eye Jim!

Compare my photo to his photo on the left at this link on Mike Hogans site.

To make it easier compare these two photo's.

Overall i find that MR.Hogan's website is very interesting to novices like me and other novices for identifying different birds, snakes, and plants in the pines, now in the future i will at least have a little insight when i am out exploring.New Jersey Snakeman also replied about a wrong bird classification,i am glad that he did,and hope any other people will reply as well if anything else is amiss. But the photos at the bridge were the first thing i noticed,as i used carranza road to go to tuckerton to my marina, times that i cannot count since the early eighties.Thank You,Guy
