Another PB Home Will Be Lost

I have been watching this place and not posting about it hoping that somehow it will survive for years to come. Unfortunately, that will not happen.

Tell us the story.Whose home?when? and why is it about to be destroyed???

I have the deed but I don't know the story. It was for sale for a while but that seemed to end and now it is falling down. I have to assume someone damaged it to cause that to happen.

On April 1, 1991 it was owned by Morris Sklar and the address there is 467 Chatsworth Road Vincentown. (He was over 62 years of age) On that day he deeded the property to himself and his niece Judith Axelrod of 28 Oxford Boulevard, Great Neck, NY with each having rights of survivorship. I am interested in the property because it is adjacent to Wharton and there are "concrete filled tiles" on a few of the corners. I want to see them and will wait until the fall to do that.

I was just there a couple days ago. Yeah, the roof caved in. It has been a knock down for sometime though...beyond restoration.
