Anybody do any star watching in the Pines at night? Do they have star parties there?
Thank you. I figured the skies would have less light pollution there than in the northern part.They have had them in the past at Batsto. Best places to check are local astonomy clubs.

No. Didn't know they were visible.Did you look for the solar flares the other night?
Check these links for dark sky locations. The plains and Wharton have some of the best in the state. The Lyrids meteor shower is April 16-26.
