All,
I've been mostly off the site for a bit, but need to make a general statement that may sound strange, so bear with me. For the past few months, I've been slowly developing a medical condition that causes very vivid hallucinations. If I posted anything inappropriate, or sent out any personal messages that were "out there", ignore them. I just got out of the hospital, where they spent a week getting my blood chemistry back to normal, and I'm starting to remember some things I did/said, and needless to say I was not myself. And in case you're wondering, no, it was not drug related. Basically, my system gradually stopped absorbing and retaining potassium and sodium, and both fell to critically low levels. I now feel "myself" again, and can't wait to get back in the woods. The only draw back is I need an escort (my brother Tom), in case something goes tilt. Otherwise, I hope to be out for a walk this weekend. Maybe I'll see you in the pines!

Nice to see you are on the mend. I guess you don't remember we banned you for life from the site for your comments. :D

Thanks all for the well wishes. Today was my first day back to work. I'm feeling well, but waiting on some test results and hope to get some answers. Until then, my big brother Tom has to chaperon my woods trips. Good thing we get along! Thanks again,
Greg

Piker, it is just another bump in the road! I am glad you bounced back!

I have had a few vivid hallucinations before but for me it usually involved large amounts of alcohol and several "beautiful" hens I fancied and pursued in a drinking establishment.:D

Mine weren't good ones, unfortunately. At least the pickup didn't break down and the dog didn't die, or else I'd be writing a country song.

Just a brief update. Most tests were ok., Still some unanswered questions, bur so far nothing serious. Been out in the woods a few times, those of you who have been laid up, you know how good it felt to be back in the woods, watching the wind blow the cedar tree tops, or sitting watching a cedar stream flow past. Like catching a glimpse of heaven. I'm loving life's simple pleasure. Again, I appreciate the well wishes! See you in the pines.
