05/31/23 @ 1730 hrs- Section B2, Bass River State Forest, Allen Rd- NJFFS crews are just arriving and accessing the situation after multiple fire towers spotted the smoke. Observation helo Delta 3 is over the fire now. State Park Police reporting currently about 10 acres. RT 672 is being shut down.
ICP is being set up at the Bass River Campgrounds. Updated 1807 hrs.

Yes. When I want to bed. Oswego Road Allen Road, Stage Road, and parts of 679 were closed. That’s a large area.

My son and I were looking at google maps and the roads that were closed. We guessed if the guessed the size of the area in question about 4,000 acres. Looks like we weren’t to far off.

22:15 and not much smell here in P'town. NOAA shows wind went from SE to S since about 19: 00 and now calm.

I drove martha road and some of cutts. Was turned back though. Not much smoke at all. 679 was back fired otherwise didn’t see much signs.

Was actually cutts cranberries guy sitting in his truck blocking road. Was at intersection of cutts and calico.

I just saw on the news this morning there is a 100+ acre fire in Medford, off of Jackson Road. You could be smelling that one.

It’s strong just down the road in Atco too.
