Awhile back, I believe it was Renee who said she thought she found bear tracks at Double Trouble State Park. Well, according to The NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife, the Black Bear population not only has been increasing, but it has been moving southeast from the northwestern part of the state. Cursor down almost halfway on the page of the Division's Q&A to get the skinny on where bears live in New Jersey. There's interesting Q & A before and after the one about where the bears live.
