I am conflicted between hoping that I see one, but if I do, it's from a distance, in daylight, and he's not between me and my car. I have bad thoughts about walking deep into a bog 45 minutes before dawn and seeing one walking towards me on the narrow dike in the direction I just came from.

They are around more than we think I believe. I swear I saw one in Greenwood run across a dirt road but when we got up there to look it was real hard ground so we couldnt see tracks.

I will most likely never see one while walking because Jessica and I are always too busy talking and it will hear us long before we get there. Now maybe by myself I may have a chance.

That wasn't recent...correct? I remember that a few years ago I believe.
That was 2 or 3 years ago. That intersection is a block from where I worked at the time and the same bear was also spotted in my neighborhood in Mount Laurel swimming in one of the ponds.

It is interesting to notice that the footprints of the bear are within inches of each other so when you see prints far apart it is not a bear or maybe it was running.
