Beaver Pond

June 24th sunset at Beaver Pond. Water lilies are sitting on mud 50 feet from the bank to the main channel, and it looks to my untrained eye like there should be water beneath them. According NJDEP, the Coastal South/Southwest Drought Region stream flow is severely low, if I am reading it right.

Gorgeous shot! I hiked the Upper Batsto river today just below Hampton bridge...water level is very low. Water is surprisingly cool, I will wear hip waders next time.
