Merchantville RR Station in 2009. Growing up in this town we always had to cross the tracks. The town was split in half by the RR so thoses who lived on the other side of the tracks were at the same social and economic standard as anyone else in town. That is one of the many reasons that made it a "Leave it to Beaver town"

I see a pick nick bench in front of the 2009 picture. What is the building used for now?

The station is now an office building, very tastefully done. In the past it had been a gift shop and was used for storage. The roof line was changed because of water damage due to lack of repairs. The tracks were removed and the right of way is grass.
