Big Tulip Poplar

17 May 2014 - Ro, Karl Anderson, Gale Cannon and I were up plant hunting in Hackleberry State Park. Found Squaw Root, Virginia Pipewort, lotsa Showy Orchis, but only plants and no blooms of Yellow Lady's Slipper. ... and a number of really big Tulip Poplar, like the one below. Plant list available if you're interested.

there are some big tulip poplars down here in bear swamp east which is a couple miles down the road from where we went on the plant hike.To get those pics of yours to show you'll have to downsize them.I usually start by cutting the pixels in half and trying that.I either us photoshop or just Paint.

I'd say the biggest on in Bear swamp is bigger then that or at least as big.As soon as i can get my foot to quit hurting i intend on going out and measuring it.
