My Plotwatcher is constantly going out of focus and I am always taking it apart and adjusting it. It is no easy task to go out of focus so I am unsure on why that is. The comapny last year told me it was because the wind was always blowing at the location I had it at all summer but I don't believe that. For me to adjust it I have to use pliers on the lens to turn it. It was adjusted perfectly when I finished with it last summer and after putting it back up a few weeks ago it was blurry. Maybe it was the quick change from a warm house to a cold tree. Who knows.

Anyway ......

Might be a coyote.

It stayed there for over an hour. Also, notice we used popcorn.

There are three.

I will put it back up soon and hopefully I will catch the coyotes I want to see. It is a good spot where they have been noticed before. My quick disconnect and connect bracket I made at work is making it so much easier to put up..

The red headed bird looks like a Red-belly Woodpecker.

I"ve always wondered why they call red bellies red bellies.Their bellies are in no way red.I guess because red headed woodpecker is taken already by a bird with a much better claim to the title.

Thanks everyone. I am hoping to catch a few "rare" animals and post them.

There actually is a small patch of red on the belly, hard to see though.

It did not like American Cheese.

It was there when the camera came on in the morning. The cheese was gone. However, note that white thing by it's tail. It was stuck on there and every photo shows it there as it walked. Odd!

A different kind of animal this week. You have to look closely on some.

Heading away.
