Bodie, CA and Goldfield, NV stuff posted in new album.

Finally! I scanned and uploaded some of my postal cards and things I have relating to Bodie, California and Goldfield, Nevada. I also scanned and uploaded a picture of my great-grandmother from around the time when she was postmaster at Goldfield, along with a news article about her appointment to the job in 1945. A couple of the postcard scans are very large files and show up nicely at that large size.

Hmm, I sort of wanted to keep the images on this site Pine Barrens related only. These out of state images can come up in the random image on the front and it doesn't really fit in with the rest of the site.

If you need image hosting off-site I can give you some webspace, but I'd appreciate it if members only posted Pine Barrens (or at least New Jersey) related images on the site.

Well I can't figure out how to delete the whole album, so you can just go ahead and do it, along with this string of messages. Pretend I never posted it. That's fine.

I had Montana Kayaker delete all of the non NJ images out of his gallery ages ago. If you look at his images, they're all from NJ.

Don't be offended, it's just that I want to keep the stuff posted here on topic to the Pine Barrens.

I'm not offended. But I had announced a couple weeks ago that I would be posting those. So when nothing was said against it, I figured it must be okay. And on the gallery page, the picture shown for Montana Kayaker's gallery is of someone Kayaking in the mountains. I never looked to see if it's actually in the gallery, but there it is on the page of galleries, for some reason. I saw it there and figured it was still inside his gallery.
Anyway, that's done. I'll post them on Webshots. Thanks.
