Looks like a great hike. I wish I could have made it, the menu for the cookout sounded incredible! I did run into other PBXers where I was.

Near Mt. Misery
Looks like I missed a real nice hike. That spring fed mill pond reminds me of the mt. Misery blue hole. The cool water of the wading must have felt great on such a warm day.

It reminded me of it also and as we went by I mentioned to Bob that we need to go back to the Mt. Misery hole and visit it again.

During a paddle down the Wading River last week I decided to revisit a shack we had found on this PBX hike in 2012.

When I got back to the beach I noticed all of this dirt on my legs and it was moving. I got into the water and sanded them off with no ill effects.

Not much left of it. I wonder if the builder did that or a transient?

Maybe Sandy, it wasn't anchored into the ground. That said, they did know something about framing. There is a well worn trail from the beach to it. Lots of happy chiggered canoeists. :)
