I'm looking at google maps concerning the road beside Makepeace lake for better access to the lake (putting a rowboat in the lake. I notice that there is what appears to be a sand wash or blue body of water alongside Front Street. Never seen it before. Before I adventure out there, can anyone tell me anything about it? Is it public/private land? Can I drive an AWD vehicle to it on the dirt road (hard packed or soft)? Can I swim in it? Are there fish in it? Are there specific dangers (always possible/present, but I mean other than the obvious known dangers for these types of waters in south jersey). Thank you in advance.

You can simply paste the coordinates you gave here into my app by first clicking the "globe" icon in the toolbar (it's on the Main Menu on a phone). Choose any map you like, this one shows parcels on an aerial

this one shows public openspace with green shading. As you can see, it's private property, so I'd say no swimming or fishing. Of course, that doesn't stop some people. ;)

For more information, use the PinesXT app. Just click the green pine tree in the toolbar (this is only available in the desktop version, not on a phone).

Here's a direct link. Again, you can choose any map you like from the menu.

oh, thanks for the info.! I'm a bit old school in my thinking. used to things having to be done manually! lol! You answered my question! Thanks! it's private (vacant) land, owned by "Arawak Paving Company." thanks! This is why I went on here and asked before finding myself in trouble for trespassing. thanks, Boyd!
