Use this thread to report connectivity or other problems with the app or site. I will also post updates here on any site maintenance or upgrades.

Note: To keep this thread short, most problem reports will be deleted after they are resolved.

Just a quick "heads up". Am doing the final processing of 2010 NAIP aerials with mid-atlantic coverage to replace the current NJ 2010 aerials (the new version is about 5 million tiles, the current map is 1 million). But there will be a number of "under the hood" changes to the site code which are likely to cause cache issues for most people.

Clearing the cache should fix this, instructions are available at the end of the help file, but this is the relevant part. The important concept to remember is that you only want to remove cached data and not other things like cookies (which might affect other websites).

Now, this only applies if you're using a computer. With a phone or other mobile device, you likely won't have this level of control. You will probably have to delete all boydsmaps data, or delete the app and re-install. This is pretty straightforward, but you will probably lose any waypoints you may have saved and all your preferences would also be erased.

But this is what the backup/restore function is for. If you have data saved in boydsmaps, this would be a good time to back it up, it will only take a few seconds. If you have to delete the app or clear its data, then you would simply use the restore function to load it from your backup file. The buttons are in the preferences menu on the desktop version

You will find in on the main menu on the mobile version (you'll probably need to scroll the menu down)

I'll post more about this update when it goes live, which will probably be sometime this evening.
