I has to go to Oswego Lake today to help a friend solve some issues he has with finding a location, and while doing so I stopped in at the CCC bridge at Oswego. If you have never been there you should stop in sometime. I was there years back but can't find my photos so I took more while there this morning.

It seems obvious to me that when the CCC was working on Oswego Lake and doing other work in the area, they made a trail and the bridge to get from their camp nearby to the road at Oswego Lake. You can see the path on the 1951 aerials and see where another bridge of some sort was there for quite a few years afterwards.

The bridge today. The ends of the bridge actually have what appears to be granite stones on each end.

There was a building before the bridge and the water source pipe is still there.

Blocking the building from anything hitting it were wooden posts in th ground around it with logs between them. Most of the logs are gone except for one or two. Multiple posts are still there.

The arrows point to the trail in 1951 and the green arrow points to a bridge that no longer is there.

Looking over the aerial again since coming home, my arrow pointing to the building is not where the building is. Maybe there was another one there as well and no traces of it are left.
