As a proud son of the Pine Barrens, I've always had a soft spot for our tea-colored cedar water. This study brings up a different, more disturbing water color issue:

I surveyed 15 swamp pink sites since April that are all located where humans impact the waterway. Every single one of the populations have declined. Human impact on the environment and the land is undeniable.
