Many of you have read or know about Charles Boyer’s book on the pines ( Old Forges and Furnaces), but what did you know about him? Well, just a little checking and I came up with this which may or may not interest you.

First, on 2/6/1935 his mother-in law died at his house.

Mrs. Anna W.DeRousse - Mrs. Anna W. DeRousse, 85, widow of Louis T. DeRousse, former postmaster of Camden and former speaker of the House, died Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles S. Boyer, 205 East Central avenue, Moorestown. Mrs. DeRousse is survived by another daughter, Mrs. J. D. Farrer, also of Moorestown. She and Mr. DeRousse, who died 12 years ago, were for many years residents of Camden. Mr. DeRousse was a member of the Assembly from 1895 to 1897, serving also as speaker. He was at one time secretary of the old Camden Board of Trade. Mrs. DeRousse was for many years a member of First Presbyterian Church, Camden. Funeral services were held yesterday.

Then two years later he died on 11/11/1936. Or was it 11/10/1936, or was it 11/14/1936? You decide from below.
