Just a couple of pretty good sales some friends told me about;

Ritz camera - three Sandisk 4GB CF or SD cards for $60 with a $60 rebate = FREE. In store and online.

Vehicle GPS - Pep Boys, Radio Shack TomTom and Magellan around $70 with others under $100

Thing is.... with the current economy and the disastrous state of the retail segment, if it's cheap this Friday it will be even cheaper next Friday, and cheaper still the Friday after that. Unless you enjoy fighting the traffic and crowds, time is on your side...

My wife and my two oldest went out with her this morning. My wife has gone out every year for the last 18 years. Every year she gets some great deals on things for the kid's.

Thats what online ordering is for. Can't get much cheaper than free, unless they pay you to buy it , then it would be a 'bail out' purchase CF cards are on the way.....

I just got off the phone with my wife. She said that there wasn't all that many great deals today and hardly any lines either. Her my son and daughter are hitting one more place and heading home
