Coffin and Hay Glassworks

I saw an Historical Marker for this today. I think it was on Piney Hollow Road in Winslow.
It said the glassworks was begun in 1829, ownership transferred to a different person in 1838, and burned down in 1892.
There seems to be no trace of it, but there are obviously modern houses in the area.
Just thought this might be of interest.
Maybe I can find more info on it somewhere.

How close to the Blue Hole was it? I'd like to see it!

Coming from your way, if you pass the entrance road to the shotgun range and the Blue Hole, go 3 miles and you are at the sharp turn in Winslow at the school. Continue around the bend and the sign is just a couple tenths of a mile on your right, or not even. But it's not your typical metal historical marker. It's different.

Well I found out that the Winslow Methodist Church was founded in 1830 and there was no mention of a different name. So I'm guessing it was Winslow back then. I don't know for sure.
