Comet PANSTARRS is coming...

Everybody go outside and wave your hands and blow these clouds north or west so we can see it. I saw some posts from the west coast last night and it is tiny and not very impressive. Hopefully will get better over the next few days.
We'll see what tomorow brings. Right now it's looking like 45-50% cloud cover thru Thursday.
I've seen a few stills, and they are not too bad. A spotting scope will help.

Has to be a different part of the country as the locations they show don't compute for here.
This diagram is drawn for a viewer near 40° north latitude. If you're south of there, the comet will be a little higher above your horizon early in the month than shown here. North of 40°, it will be even lower in early March than shown here, but higher than here as it fades after midmonth.
That new one that replaced the other makes sense. It is just about where we saw it this evening.
