well those who have voted for him are really reaping all kinds of rewards i see. i can just see all the taxes i will have to pay to get my 20% back on my property tax. the dirt is just starting to flow on this guy. i was willing to give him a chance but it now i guess we will have to enjoy what some have put in office.

Corzine isn't a dictator so you can't pin this all on him. If he was a dictator, we'd probably be halfway out of this mess already. Instead he has to deal with a corrupt legislature and public that keeps re-electing them. Fact of the matter is the guy's got a damn good financial head on his shoulders. You don't become a multi multi millionaire while making BILLIONS for one of the world's largest investment firms by being a dolt who can't stick to a budget. I like Corzine-what has he done that's so awful that the legislature and those that came before him (as Mike said) haven't saddled him with?

Corzine is a self made man who grew up on 100 acre farm in Illinois, worked his way through a state school, and joined the USMC after he graduated. That's more than I can say for James McGreevey (aka the man who made NJ even more of a laughing stock), stick-in-the-mud-silver-spooner-Christie Whitman, toilet-paper-taxer-Florio...shall I go on? I bet once Corzine has finished his 2nd term he'll be known as the best governor since Tom Kean. I liked Dick Codey too-too bad he didn't want to be Governor.
