Crackdown On Off-Roading This Weekend In Lacey/Waretown Area

Planning to go off-roading this holiday weekend? The county and local police will be cracking down on ATV riding in protected open space.

I saw a woman on an ATV at Ongs Hat flying down a dirt road at a high rate of speed. She had a small boy probably around five years old bouncing up and down on her lap as she careened over the pot holes. Neither were wearing helmets. I shook my head in disbelief that a parent could be that irresponsible with their child.
