a village...in the pines
While traveling home last night, Chatsworth looked like it was already in the midst of festivus. Thankfully the weather for the weekend looks great. See you tomorrow, Scott.

P.S. to those considering the Batsto event..... If you are not there early (by 10/10:30), make plans to arrive later in the day (after 2 pm) The access to the village can become very crowded.

Scott, did you really post that at 2:41 AM?
Yes sir, I did.
Today is the South zone waterfowl opener and I had a date with some quackers.
Michael staked out our spot at 1:00 a.m. I motored in to the spot very leisurely with a friend in a Bass Tender at 4:30 a.m.
Us old guys are entitled to a few extra hours sleep.
Slow day. Two teal and a mallard.

I went to the Chatsworth Cranberry Festival on Saturday. Yes, it was crowded and I'm glad I didn't have to use one of the porta-potties because the line started in Panama, Florida, but it's always a fun time to get together with extended family and see all my nieces and nephews running around with smiles on their faces eating some kind of junk food so, despite being shoulder-to-shoulder with everybody, it's still a good time and I always manage to find a few neat items to buy.
