This probably happened this past spring but I found out the hard way today while travelling to a hunting spot.
The major pipe crossing on the way to Batsto just southeast of Wescoat Bogs is now impassable.
It is at N39d 41.671min x W074d 41.394 min

The stream overcame both sides and the top of of the 36" corrugated pipe, washed away the roadbed and exposed the entire pipe.
Shitheads are continuing to drive over what is left of the pipe and have severely damaged it beyond reasonable economical repair by having their undercarriages/transfer cases gouging holes through the top of the aluminum pipe.
No camera today unfortunately.

So, if you are on your way to or from Batsto on that road, you will need to turn around at roughly the halfway point.

I foresee Parks and Forestry having enough money to fix this when...... :pigfly:

i have been there twice in the past year and they actually dug that up and yanked out the old pipe more then a year ago and it looks like the state has put that new pipe in but didn't cover it up and yes they were riding over it with monster trucks I presume.mine sure couldn't do it.I do believe this is the work of the state, left the job unfinished and the shitheads will ruin their pipe.I do believe it washed out as you say but i think the state went to work on it and removed the old pipe and that is a new one.

Last March, I happened upon the washed out pipe from the North. I had to get to the other side of the stream, so parked & carefully hopped across. 2 months earlier, We adopted a 9 month old lab pup. Not wanting to let me out of his sight, he tried to follow me, The water was ripping through there & as he entered the water he was swept downstream! I had to grab him, and while doing so, slipped off the shiny new CMP.
