Few human eyes have witnessed this first hand. I can't say the same for amphibious eyes however. Pics were taken with iphone.

this was, at times, a dangerous area with "quaking bogs" surrounding all bodies of water. Can you make out the old cord road in this next shot? One mis-step between the logs and you would go straight down to a watery, muddy death.

Wet a line...........to go fishing. Refers to getting the fishing line in the water, thus wetting it.
"We didn't catch any fish today but at least we wet a line."

I was mostly just checking it out on foot before comitting a kayak to it. Didn't catch anything but there was a lot of sediment in the water still, and I was limited in my mobility do to a very unstable shore line. Even in hip waders I really had to watch my step. so I only fished a small portion. I'll go back very soon and report back.

i tried fishing it from the bank but their is no bank.Almost killed myself with the fishing pole a few times.I ended up getting in the crik and wading it.The other time I had a canoe.
