I was surprised to hear white-tailed deer eat birds, particularly fledglings and ground nesting birds. Has anyone ever observed this?

On that one paragraph they went into a evolutionfairytale spiel to try and explain why some herbivores eat meat. They eat meat because they like it! Duh? Why would a deer eat another deers intestines? because theres grass in them thar guts. Why do some folks eat black olives? There is just no accounting for taste. Oh by the way Joe I guess you didn't know I"m a deluded YEC so tales from 10,000,000 BC send me into laughing fits till I pass out.My signature says it all

Ah, gotcha Al, I checked your link, I get you now. I agree on the grass in the guts theory too! As far as the member status, that happened way back when Ben changed the format and I never asked why, I think it happened to us all and some were fixed? Before the format change I think I was a scout or something like that?
